The units have excellent filtration media- a thick wrap around pre-filter, a fully body hospital grade filter followed by a gas phase, VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) filter. The pollutants are drawn into the unit on all four sides, and cleaned purified air is put back into the environment from a louver grille on one side of the unit. Three speeds from 150cfm to 400cfm allow thorough air cleaning with whisper quiet results.
